I was traveling in India last September.1:05
One day I somehow caught the wrong bus while trying to get from Delhi to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.1:08
I ended up in a small village in the middle of nowhere.1:14
Next bus back to Delhi tomorrow, the bus driver told me.1:18
Just then a man was passing by with an ox cart.1:22
The bus driver stops him.1:24
Before I knew it, I was sitting on top of some sacks on the man's cart and we were heading back to the city.1:26
Most of the way it was raining and mosquitoes were buzzing around the ox and biting me.1:32
Sanjeet only spoke Hindi, but he was smiling and laughing all the way and he even shared his lunch with me.1:37
It was very spicy but delicious.1:44
It took us four hours to reach Delhi.1:47

I had another crazy day while I was visiting the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand in March.2:14
One morning I decided to go on a long tail boat trip around the islands.2:18
Unfortunately, the wind was blowing strongly that day and before long I was feeling very seasick.2:22
So I was very relieved when we stopped at a place called Monkey Beach.2:28
Hundreds of monkeys were running towards us as we got off the boat.2:32
But then as I was feeding a piece of pineapple to one monkey, another grabbed my small backpack and quickly ran into the bushes with it.2:35
I tried to run after it but it was too fast.2:43
The bag had my passport in it.2:46
I never saw my passport again.2:48
I had to get a new one from my embassy in Bangkok.2:50
