The most important thing is to have a fire alarm in your house.0:59
It should be placed in the hallways in the middle of the ceiling.1:03
Avoid putting it in the kitchen or bathroom because the steam caused from cooking and hot water can make the alarm go off unnecessarily.1:06
It's also very important to check the batteries once a week and to replace them every year.1:14

It's very important to be careful when cooking since most fires start in the kitchen.1:26
Take pans off the cooker or turn the heat down if you have to leave the kitchen for a while.1:32
