Well, for a start, vinegar cleans and it kills germs too.0:29
The best type to use is white vinegar.0:34
It's great for cleaning your bath, sink, and kitchen counters, and put some on an old newspaper to clean your windows.0:37
Vinegar is also fantastic as a fabric softener.0:45
It helps people who get an itchy rash from some washing powders, and it makes your clothes really clean and soft.0:48

You can use it to clean brass, copper, and stainless steel.1:03

Half a lemon sprinkled with baking soda is a fantastic pan scrubber, and it'll also clean surfaces.1:32
Most people have got baking soda in their kitchen cupboards, and it's got many uses.1:41
You can sprinkle it over your carpet, leave it for 30 minutes, and then hoover it up, and it leaves your carpet smelling fresh and lovely.1:46

Just pour some on and then dab with a dry cloth, and it will disappear.2:03
For big stains, though, you can use cornflour.2:08
Leave it on for 20 minutes, and then rub with a mixture of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water, and that will do the trick.2:11
